A propos of that occasion is Bill O'Reilly's remarks, reported in the SF Chronicle, inviting a terrorist to blow up Coit Tower. BOR is maddened by San Francisco's desire to remove handguns. But, I would be surprised if Right Wing Nut Cases (RwNC) aren't already planning to blow up the Bay Area.
